Fancy yourself as a less talented Andre Agassi or Pete Sampras? Are you looking to prove that you’re the best tennis player in Haddonfield or just looking for a good game? If so, the Haddonfield Tennis Association will be holding its annual open and junior tennis tournaments on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5, at the Centennial Tennis Courts.
The open tournament will consist of three separate events, including a mens open singles competition, mens “B” singles competition and a women’s open singles competition. Participants will be competing for a total of $375 in gift certificates.
The junior tournament will consist of four separate events, including a boys 18 and under singles event, boys 14 and under singles event, girls 18 and under singles event, and girls 14 and under singles event.
Trophies will be awarded to the winner and finalist in each junior event.
Each event will be limited to the first 16 people who register. All entries must be received by May 30. The entry fee for the open events will be $18 for current HTA members and $24 for non-members. The entry fee for the junior events will be $17 for current HTA members and $22 for non-members. Each participant must provide one can of U.S. Tennis Association approved tennis balls.
In the event of rain, the tournaments will be held on June 11 and 12.
