Don’t forget to vote

On Wednesday, April 27, Voorhees residents along with all New Jersey citizens vote on school budgets in the annual school election. Do not miss the chance to cast your vote and take part in this important decision that impacts upon the continued excellence of our schools, representatives reported.

Vote tomorrow on school election day. Polls are open from 2 to 9 p.m. Representatives are reminding voters to look for the Voorhees Public School’s local proposal at the very bottom of the ballot.

The following are the polling places for township voters:

• Osage School: Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 18.

Includes Old Ashland, Osage, Greenridge, Kirkwood, Carriage Brooke, Village Apartments, Rygate, Immediate Echelon Mall Area, Turbridge, Franklin Place and Three Pond.

Enter to vote in gym through entrance in rear of school. Enter rear parking lot using driveway at far end of school property.

• Kresson School: Districts 8, 13, 14, 15.

Includes Beagle Club, Avian, Partridge Run and Main Street areas.

Enter to vote in gym through schools left front door.

• E.T.Hamilton School: Districts 3, 9, 10.

Includes Alluvium bounded by Victor Boulevard and Cooper Road, northwest to Alluvium Woods and Wilderness Lakes; Elm Tree, Lake Villa; Alluvium Lakes, Devonshire, Lafayette Hill and Lafayette Avenue area.

Enter to vote through door by gym on right front of school.

• Signal Hill School: Districts 6, 11, 16.

Includes Sturbridge, Woodbrook, Reserve, Whitehall, Huntington Ridge, Dutchtown Road, Lake Villa Drive and Cedar Lake Drive. Enter through gym door on left side of school by side parking lot.

• Middle School: Districts 7, 12, 17, 19.

Includes Staffordshire, Acorn Hill, Lost Tree, Ashland Terrace, Coventry Terrace, Sunnyfield and Lakewood of Voorhees.

Enter through theater doors and vote in theater lobby.
