Feel like going out to dinner this week? Why not do it for the dogs.
Puppies and More Rescue, Inc. is hosting a fund-raising event called Dine for the Dogs on April 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Residents are invited to dine at Medford’s P.J. Whelihan’s Pub and Grille and, during the event, 10 percent of each check will be donated to Puppies and More Rescue, Inc., a small nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to finding home for canines in need. The organization provides immediate medical attention as well as loving foster homes where each puppy or dog is evaluated and socialized into the family setting.
