Residents beaten with weapons in home invasion robbery

On Saturday, March 26, police responded to 800 block of W. Rt. 70 for a reported home invasion robbery. First arriving officers were advised that two black males came to the rear second floor door and announced they were Camden County Police, according to Cherry Hill police.

After knocking, they kicked in the rear door and assaulted all three occupants.

The first suspect was described as a black male wearing a black hoody, blue jeans and white sneakers and was armed with a dark handgun.

The second suspect also a black male wearing a dark colored hoody and was armed with a long gun.

All three occupants were beaten with the weapons and sustained multiple lacerations and fractures.

The suspects went through the home ransacking several rooms. The proceeds were reported to have been cash and electronics. Both actors fled through the rear door and left the area in an unknown direction. There was no vehicle seen.

The investigation has been turned over to detectives. Anyone with information is urged to contact the 24-hour information line at 488–7828.
