Woman with bruised face steals from pharmacy

The following items are on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A N. Haddon Avenue pharmacy employee reported to police on March 10 at 7:49 a.m. that a female suspect between the ages of 20 and 30, long blonde hair, with bruises all over her face stole five bottles of over the counter pain medicine.

The suspect ran out of the pharmacy before employees could stop her. She ran into an SUV and drove away on N. Haddon Avenue.

The medications were valued at $36 total.

There is no more information available in the case.

• A Hawthorne Avenue resident reported to police on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. that she was recently scammed out of $1,071. A suspect called her and said that he was the victim’s grandson and that he needed $985.

The victim wired the money to the suspect via Western Union. With fees and charges she ended up paying $1,071.

After the suspect called her twice more asking for more money she realized she was being scammed. She filed a report with the department.
