Two suspects sought in Walmart robbery

The Evesham Police Department is investigating a series of thefts from the Walmart, Route 70 East, Marlton, NJ.

These thefts have occurred on Jan. 19 between midnight and 1 a.m., Jan. 31 between midnight and 1 a.m., Feb. 27 at 12:50 a.m. and March 10 at 12:45 a.m.

During all these incidents car batteries were stolen from a secured area at the rear of the business. According to reports well over 100 car batteries were stolen from Walmart.

It is believed that these thefts are connected to a series of similar type thefts that have been occurring throughout the region.

The suspect is believed to be a white, male, wearing a hooded sweatshirt/jacket with a logo on the back.

There is a second suspect who is the vehicle’s driver.

The suspect vehicle is a newer model Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee with chrome rims.

The Evesham Police Department is releasing surveillance photographs from the March 10 theft in hopes that someone can identify the suspects responsible. To view the photos please visit the Evesham Police Department’s Facebook page.
