Mabel Kay House gearing up for spring

The Mabel Kay Senior Center has announced its spring programming for Haddonfield and surrounding area senior citizens.

Spring is arriving and Mabel Kay senior center is looking forward to our senior citizens getting acquainted with the many daily activities that are offered. Come in and pick up a monthly program schedule.

Enjoy art workplace on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and against from 1 to 4 p.m.

Cardio fun is held on Monday’s at 11:30 a.m. at Tarditi Commons and light aerobics each Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Wednesday’s will feature line dancing from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Chair Tai Chi will be held on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. at Tarditi Commons.

On the first, third and fifth Tuesday of each month the center offers bridge at 12:30 p.m. On the second and fourth Tuesday please enjoy bingo at 1 p.m. Each third Wednesday join the computer club at 10 a.m.

Finally, to mark the end of the week the seniors meet on Fridays from noon to 2:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments, conversations, games, or special programming.

Also, the center will be sponsoring an AARP special drivers workshop will be held on Thursday, April 14 and Friday, April 15. Each day the program will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $12 to attend for AARP members and $14 to attend for non-members. Please call 354–8789 to register. Leave your name and phone number on the answering machine.
