FOF needs help from Moorestown community

Friends of Fullerton needs 750 members of the community to build the new playground at Fullerton Park over five days from April 27 through May 1.

Many have signed up already and have pledged, time, tools, supplies and money., but the park still needs much more.

Friends of Fullerton is looking for doctors, EMTs and nurses to staff a volunteer first aid team to help out with minor cuts and bumps. First Aid supplies are also needed prior to the first day of build. Pledge supplies or sign up for a full day, a full four hour shift or commit to as little as an hour of your time. Every bit will help.

Please contact mschlindwein@comcast.net to pledge supplies or volunteer for the first aid aquad.

Childcare providers are needed as well. Friends of Fullerton is arranging childcare for potty-trained children ages 3 to 12 for those who are working the project.

The childcare facility will be offsite at the recreation center and the William Allen Middle School, depending on the time of day.

Age appropriate students and adults are needed to assist. Those with special, kid-oriented talents who are willing to share their time and creativity with the children are also urged to contact Friends of Fullerton. Childcare volunteers in any capacity are asked to contact ralphandmare@aol.com.

Builders, and unskilled laborers are urged to sign up. All are urged to sign up and help. Some can build (with direction, of course) while many others are needed for sanding, clean up and more.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of a true community project that promises to enhance Moorestown as a whole while making our children the happiest kids in Burlington County.

For more information on donating or volunteering in any capacity please go to www.friendsoffullerton.com for complete details.
