On March 5, 87, a 70-year resident of Haddonfield and wife of the late Robert E., Sr. Loving mother of Robert E., Jr. (Bernadette) and Ruth L. (Fred) Matthews, both of Haddonfield, beloved grandmother of Robert E., III (Genevieve), Beth E. Sobus (Micah), R. Julia Jones (Scott) and Lauren E. Matthews (Ralph Barnes) and great grandmother of Rebecca Jones and Hunter and Anne Sobus.
She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. Hunter had worked at Morton’s Jewelers in Cherry Hill for 15 years and had been the dining room hostess at the Garden State Race Track. She summered in Avalon for many years and was noted amongst family and friends as a great story teller.
