Mothers and daughters of elementary school age are invited to dress up for an elegant tea party at the Medford Arts Center on Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m.
Fancy costume embellishments will be provided so that party-goers can add glamour to their attire.
Once seated at the table adorned with linen and fine china, participants will learn about the history and customs of serving tea and sample different varieties.
Of course, teacakes, scones and sweet biscuits will be served in the finest teatime tradition and children can custom-decorate their own special cookie.
This “Art of Tea” event will be presented at the Medford Arts Center. The cost is $20 for each mother and daughter. Additional daughters from the same family may be added for $5 each.
