The Medford Crossing project is on tonight’s agenda. The redevelopment project at Route 70 and Eayrestown Road anticipates over 600,000 square feet of commercial use, mixed residential uses, (including single family homes, townhouses, and upscale apartments), a municipal building and library, and will satisfy a significant portion of the Township’s COAH obligation.

Numerous residents addressed Council during a public meeting last night, demanding answers about the project and the impact it could have on the township.

Township officials said representatives from Lennar will be present at the meeting for information and to answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the public safety building.

Judging by almost three hours of residents’ questions and concerns on the topic last night, it will most likely be a packed house.

Check back for updates after the meeting.
