John Finley, 76, of Medford, passed away on Feb, 18 of breathing problems.
He was born January 11, 1935 in Williamstown, Pa. and graduated from the Milton Hershey School.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, five daughters Kim Pollack, Lori Coury, Debbie Orr, Roseanne Finley and Julie Skinner, eight beloved grandchildren and Maggie “The Scooter”.
Devoted father and the hardest working person one would ever know, his family will treasure and abundance of memories. All who knew him can attest to his strength both inside and out. Absolutely fearless he faced everything head on. Throughout his life he overcame one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after another. In his later years, he even overcame melanoma and heart failure.
Relatives and friends may call on tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055. A service will follow at 8 p.m. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
