Police make arrests in connection with prostitution investigation

The following items were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:

On Feb. 3, the following individuals were arrested in the 1100 block of SH 73 at approximately 8 p.m. The arrests were made in connection with an investigation into prostitution that was conducted by the Mt. Laurel Police Department. As a result of the investigation the following individuals were arrested for prostitution related offenses:

•A 21-year-old female of the 19000 block of Collins Avenue Miami, Florida was charged with Engaging in Prostitution and lodged in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $3,500 bail.

•A 23-year-old female of the 2800 block of SH 73 Maple Shade was charged with Engaging in Prostitution and released pending a municipal court hearing.

•A 24-year-old male of Franklin Street, Trenton was charged with Compelling Prostitution and Transporting a Prostitute. The male was taken into custody for delivering one of the females to a location for purposes to engage in prostitution. The male was lodged in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $13,500 bail.

•A 43-year-old male of the 3600 block of Fenwick Lane, Mt. Laurel was charged with Loitering to Engage in Prostitution. The male was taken into custody after transporting one of the females to a location for purposes to engage in prostitution.

•A 24-year-old female of the 1400 block of N. 53rd Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was charged with Engaging in Prostitution and released pending a municipal court hearing.
