Moorestown Fire Department’s Great Escape contest 2010 grand prize winner was Chad Noyes, a second grader at South Valley School. This Great Escape contest was designed for elementary school children. All second-grade children must create their own home fire drills and pre-planned family-escape routes. They then submit their drawings to the Fire Department for judging. There is one winner for each school and from those entries a Grand-prize Winner is selected. All grand-prize winners received a $200 U.S. Savings Bond from The Moorestown Fire Department and the child was invited to ride on top a fire truck in the Annual Lions Club Christmas Parade.
