Blast off with The First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, 124 Kings Highway East, when it holds its 2010 Summer Enrichment Camp, Galactic Blast, on Monday, Aug. 2, through Friday, Aug. 6. Children ages 4 through seventh grade are invited to come along on the voyage. Camp “cadets” will begin every day at 9 a.m., ending at 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Friday a closing performance will be “launched” at noon for family and friends, followed by an outdoor carnival for all (moonbounce and giant waterslide huge part of the fun!).
All areas of camp activity are led by experienced, child-friendly adult teachers who believe God has given us a world full of wonders to explore. The children will see space like never before, gaining a new perspective on planet Earth, and learn easy “green” tips they can practice at home. The week promises to be a cosmic combination of faith and fun, bringing all closer to God and his creation.

Older teens are invited to volunteer as junior counselors and should contact Erin Phillips, minister of Christian education, at the church office number.
