Merion Mercy Academy graduate Kathryn Hughes, of Cherry Hill, was awarded a $500 scholarship from South Jersey Federal Credit Union. The scholarship is for the 2010–2011 academic year. Hughes will be attending Dickinson College in the fall.
Students are eligible if they are an SJFCU member or if a parent/guardian is a member. Winners of the scholarships were selected on the basis of high school academic performance, teacher references, extracurricular and community involvement, and an essay.
