Beneficial celebrates grand opening

Beneficial Bank will celebrate the grand opening of two state-of-the-art facilities in Cherry Hill with a series of grand opening events.

The bank will host financial expert and best-selling author Jean Chatzky at Cherry Hill West High School, May 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, for a presentation about sound financial planning and saving. Attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a Dell Mini Netbook computer. Chatzky’s presentation is free and open to all members of the Cherry Hill, South Jersey and Philadelphia region communities.

Beneficial will also host grand opening events, Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to noon, at its two Cherry Hill locations, 1901 Route 70 East and 818 Haddonfield Road. The grand opening events will feature tours of the facilities, mini financial workshops, raffles for iPad tablet computers, food, giveaways, games and children’s activities including story readings and arts and crafts. The first 100 people to arrive at each location will receive a complimentary copy of Money 911, based on the weekly series on NBC’s Today Show, and written by Chatzky.

The new locations will provide the Cherry Hill community with resources that extend beyond banking including public conference room space, financial education resources, computers, a coffee bar, free wi-fi and more. Beneficial takes great pride in making a difference in the lives of the local neighborhoods and residents that it serves, and is committed to supporting education within its communities.

These events are free and open to the public and families are encouraged to attend.
