Time is growing short to sign up for the 70th annual Last Man’s Dinner Monday, April 5 at Tavistock Country Club.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour (cash bar) for all to get acquainted.
The program will start promptly at 7 p.m. when the Camden County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums march in playing their first number, “A Rousing Tune.”
Each year, the Last Man’s Club of Post 38 conducts this special event to honor our soldiers and our veterans who have served our country in time of war.
Post 38 honors all veterans; however, the program features remarks from members who served during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Gulf Wars.
Dan Colombi, Commander of Post 38, will emcee the program that will include military honors, remarks from members from the wars, a special “POW/MIA White Table Remembrance Service” and numbers from “The Camden County Emerald Society.”
Special attention will be given to honor members who have passed away in the last year; to celebrate the privilege of being an American; and to respect the Charter of “The Last Man’s Club” which calls for all “to eat, drink, and be merry.”
The price is $35 per person, and includes a prime-rib dinner and valet parking.
Checks should be made out to “Last Man’s Club/Post 38.”
