A South Haddon Avenue business owner reported to police on March 22 at 7:06 p.m. that a pane of glass on his storefront had been broken sometime over the weekend.

There was no evidence as to what broke the window.

A mother of a Haddonfield Memorial High School student reported to police on March 25 at 6:04 p.m. that her son’s iPod Touch was stolen from the JV locker while he was at track practice from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. earlier in the day.

The device was valued at $200.

A Kings Highway East pharmacy employee reported to police on March 21 at 1:11 p.m. that a white male suspect had tried to purchase $183 worth of merchandise with a credit card that was not his.

The card, the employee said, was issued to a female.

The suspect, described as being about 25 years old and about five-foot, nine-inches tall, tried to purchase two cartons of cigarettes and some dental whitening strips, the employee said.

He left the store, saying the card belonged to his wife, and the employee saw him get into a tan sedan vehicle with a white female with blonde hair.

The officers were able to find the owner of the credit card and contacted her.

She reported that earlier in the day she thought she had heard a noise coming from the downstairs, but she didn’t see anyone in her home.

She told the officer that her purse was no longer in the house and it contained several credit cards, her driver’s license, and her social security card.

On March 25 a victim’s husband reported to police and said her bank reported that one of the stolen cards had been used at a local gas station and convenience store.

The officer reported to the gas station, which didn’t remember the suspect.

The convenience store clerk, however, reported that a man matching the description had purchased about $150 worth of merchandise several days earlier. He provided the officer with the man’s receipt.

The clerk reported that the suspect had pulled up to the store in a tan car and exited with a blonde female.

He said he would ask his manager to provide the police department with the store’s surveillance tape.

A Kings Highway East pharmacy employee reported to police on March 24 at 9:39 p.m. that a male suspect had stolen about $20 to $60 worth of Crest Whitening Strips from the store.

He left through the rear exit and tripped the store’s security alarm.

The employee said he got into a four-door gray vehicle and drive away from the scene.

Officers reviewing the store’s surveillance tape saw a 25-year-old blonde short haired, scruffy faced suspect appear to take several cases of the product.

He matched the description of a suspect who was involved in a suspicious incident at another pharmacy in town on March 21.

An HMHS student reported to police on March 22 at 11:05 a.m. that her 8-gig iPhone was stolen after she left it in her homeroom class overnight.

She returned the next day and her coat was still in the room, but the iPod was gone from her coat. It was valued at $200.

An HMHS student reported to police on March 22 at 11 a.m. that he lost his wallet earlier in the day.

The wallet contained $25 in cash, his school ID card, and a Best Buy Discount Card.

The maintenance staff said it had not turned up.

A Rhodes Avenue resident reported to police on March 21 at 6:46 p.m. that a purse had been stolen from the home.

The resident said a visitor’s purse had been stolen from the kitchen as she and several visitors were in the back yard.

The home was highly trafficked during the time, but the front door was unlocked.

The Coach purse was stolen from the home and it contained several credit cards, a Social Security card, her driver’s license, $45, and her house and car keys.

An officer reported that the neighbors had seen a white male earlier in the day soliciting throughout the neighborhood.

He did not produce any identification supporting his claims, they said.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Three males were stopped that matched the description of the suspect, but none were found in possession of the stolen materials.

The victim was advised to cancel her credit cards and to report her missing keys to the Cherry Hill Police Department.
