Richard Malcolm Kraft Jr.
March 8, 2010.
Of 79 years. Dick, as he was known by family and friends, was born on Jan. 10, 1931 in Camden.
He was raised by his parents, Kathryn H. and R. Malcolm Kraft, in Haddonfield, and graduated from Haddonfield High School in 1948.
Dick went on to attend Williams College, in Williamstown, Mass., where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity and on the football team.
He graduated in 1952 and joined the U.S. Army where he served for two years. Dick was married in 1956 to Emily Morris and they raised their two daughters in Westfield.
He was an active member of the Westfield Boosters and Williams College Alumni Association. Dick was President of the Westfield Girls softball League and the Williams Club of New York City.
He also coached youth football in Westfield and was on the Westfield United Fund Board.
Dick worked in sales for KCL, Corp for 27 years before he joined the New York Yankees as Vice President of Community Relations in 1983 to 1994.
In 1996 he changed roles to become Vice President of Spring Training Operations in Tampa, FL.
Dick and his wife currently reside in Andover, Vt., where they have lived for the last 14 years and he has enjoyed fly fishing, golf, skiing and his dogs.
Dick is survived by his loving wife Emily, two daughters Deborah Kraft Casey of New Orleans, and Pamela Sue Kraft of Jamaica, Vt., and four grandsons Peter Malcolm Casey, Michael Kraft Casey, George Thomas Casey and William Eamon Casey, all of New Orleans.
Interment private.

Lola Mae Roop
(nee Edwards)

March 16, 2010
Age 91, a Haddonfield resident for over 40 years and formerly of Philadelphia. She was the wife of the late William H. Roop. Loving mother of Barry W. of Ambler, Pa., and Bruce A. of Haddonfield. Also survived by a nephew, Michael Parks of Athens, Ga.
Roop worked for KYW in Philadelphia as a secretary for 10 years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield for over 40 years and a longtime member of the Haddon Fortnightly.
Additionally, she was a volunteer for Interfaith Caregivers and the Haddonfield Welcome Wagon.
Memorial donations be made in Mrs. Roop’s name to the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, 20 E. Kings Hwy., Haddonfield, NJ 08033, or the charity of one’s choice.
