Pasta Bowl on March 21

The Haddonfield Lions Club will hold its annual Pasta Bowl on March 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Christ the King School Gym, Hopkins Avenue. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children under 12.

The Pasta Bowl will once again feature an array of homemade Italian dishes, as well as bread, salad, dessert and beverages. The event will also include the popular basket auction, which offers a chance to win baskets filled with an assortment of appealing items.

Last year, the Pasta Bowl committee received auction donations from businesses and organizations.

The committee is still looking for additional basket donations — whether it’s merchandise, a service or a gift certificate — for this year’s auction.

In return for your generosity, the Lions Club will display your item and mention your business name during the auction, and will acknowledge your contribution on its Web site.

The Lions Club is a registered charitable organization with the state.

To make a donation, or to pass along a suggestion for a business or organization that might be interested in participating, contact the auction chairperson, Simone Kane, at simonekane@yahoo.com or 616–1376.

All proceeds generated from the Pasta Bowl and other Lions Club fundraising events benefit the Blind Fund, which supports many local, regional, national and international causes.
