Friday evenings at Christ the King
Christ the King Catholic Community invites you to share socially and spiritually on the Friday evenings in Lent, except Good Friday.
Soup, rolls and water will be served in Morgan Hall at 6:15 p.m., followed by evening prayer in the Church at 7:15 p.m. and a brief reflection on three Stations of the Cross.

Bishop Eustace presents ‘Grease’
Whether you were “Born to Hand Jive” or are “Hopelessly Devoted,” grab your leather jacket or poodle skirt and head to Bishop Eustace Preparatory School’s production of “Grease.”
Performances are March 4, 5, and 6 at 7:30 p.m.
All performances are at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, 315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens.
All performances are general admission seating.

‘Pippin’ at HMHS March 4–6 and 12–13
The Haddonfield Memorial High School Drama Club is proud to present “Pippin,” March 4 to 6, 12 and 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Haddonfield Memorial High School auditorium.
Pippin tells the musical tale of the young son of King Charlemagne as he begins his journey to find himself.
His attempts to find happiness lead him through the world of academia, the military, politics, and family.
The show, written by Stephen Schwartz, who also penned “Wicked” and “Godspell,” features Broadway favorites such as “Magic to Do,” “Corner of the Sky” and “With You.”

65 Club bus trip to Spring Lake
The Haddonfield 65 Club March bus trip will be to Doolan’s Dinner Theatre in Spring Lake, March 10.
This package will include a St. Patrick’s Festa dinner and traditional show, with an Irish Tenor, Mike Burns, the Green Derby Show Band, a comedian and a bag piper. There will be a “one hour open bar” and wine or beer during dinner.
The menu offerings are corned beef and cabbage, salmon or half a spring chicken.
The cost will be $70 each. Please write your entrée choice(s) on the memo portion of your check, made payable to the Haddonfield 65 Club.

Be a Crows Woods gardener
Haddonfield’s Crows Woods Gardeners will meet for its annual winter sign-up on Thursday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m., at the Crows Woods Building.
Open to Haddonfield residents, the community gardens attracted more than 70 gardeners last year at the town’s Crows Woods complex.
To join Crows Woods Gardeners, new gardeners pay $20 for 10-by-20-foot plots.
New gardeners must also attend opening day activities, scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 8 a.m.
Gardeners who have already gardened at Crowds Woods may choose 20-by-20-foot or 10-by-20-foot plots, depending on availability.

World Day of Prayer March 5
The Lutheran Church of Our Savior will host a World Day of Prayer gathering sponsored by the Haddonfield Council of Churches from 1 to 2 p.m., on Friday, March 5.
This year the global ecumenical movement of prayer and prayerful action will focus on the African nation of Cameroon with a theme “Let Everything That Has Breath Praise God.’’

Evening Membership Division meeting
The Evening Membership Department of the Haddon Fortnightly will hold its monthly meeting March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse on the corner of Kings Highway and Grove Street.
This meeting will feature local author/speaker Wendy Anne Hunt. She will share the inspiration for her trilogy, “The Orphan and the King.”
Ms. Hunt uses her engaging book series to raise much needed funds for Shohanna’s Hope, a nonprofit organization which provides critical medical care for orphaned and underprivileged children in rural China.
The presentation will include a slide show followed by a question and answer period.
Cherry Hill West Singers at First Baptist
The First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, 124 Kings Highway E, will host the award-winning Cherry Hill High School West Singers on Friday evening, March 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Under the direction of the distinguished conductor, Christine Bass, the West Choral Music Program which consists of seven choirs and more than 300 students, regularly receives superior ratings and has won best choral program awards at music festivals nationally.
The “West Singers,” top choir in the program, has performed at the national conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and the State Music Educators Association, as well as the New Jersey Education Association conventions.
They also performed in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Kennedy Center, and have toured in Europe.
Their extensive credits include singing with Philadelphia’s Singing City Chorus and the Newark Boy’s Choir.
A reception will follow the performance. Free will donations accepted. Childcare provided.

The Haddonfield AARP chapter 3176 meeting, will be held on Monday, March 8, at the Mabel Kay Hospitality House, 24 Walnut St.
