Grease is the word

at Bishop Eustace

Whether you were “Born to Hand Jive” or are “Hopelessly Devoted,” grab your leather jacket or poodle skirt and head to Bishop Eustace Preparatory School’s production of “Grease.”

Performances are March 4, 5, and 6 at 7:30 p.m. All performances are at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, 315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. All performances are general admission seating. For more information call the Performing Arts Department at 662–2160.

CONTACT Chinese Auction and Raffle

CONTACT Community Helplines will host its third annual Chinese Auction and 50/50 Raffle, March 24, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Hall, 400 Commerce Lane, West Berlin, on the corner of Rt. 73 North & Commerce Lane.

Proceeds benefit CONTACT Community Helplines, a United Way agency that operates a 24-hour crisis intervention helpline for all ages and a telephone reassurance program for the elderly in Camden and Gloucester Counties. Purchase your tickets in advance for an evening full of prizes, desserts and fun. Ticket price includes 25 auction chances, dessert & beverage. 50/50 tickets may be purchased separately.

Tickets purchased in advance are $12.50, at the door $15.

Community Day of Caring at Beth El

Congregation Beth El is sponsoring Community Day of Caring to benefit the people of Haiti featuring a concert by Rick Recht and a community craft and gift bazaar on Sunday, March 21, from noon to 4 p.m.

Tables are $100 and checks are made payable to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The concert and bazaar will take place at Congregation Beth El located at 8000 Kresson Road in Voorhees.

Wizards roll

into Eastern March 17

The Harlem Wizards, a semi-pro basketball team, is coming to Voorhees on March 17.

The basketball game will be played at the Eastern High School Gym and is sponsored by the Osage Parent Faculty Assn. The Wizards will be playing against the Osage staff and other district teachers. Tickets are on sale now for only $10.
