A Cowboy Mission: The Best Sermons are Lived … Not Preached

Maple Shade native, Charles T. Sherf, and his daughter, Barbara Sherf, will deliver a talk to the Moorestown Senior Memoir Writers on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. at the Barnes and Noble bookstore, by the Moorestown Mall.

The pair published “A Cowboy Mission: The Best Sermons are Lived … Not Preached” a year ago in celebration of Charlie’s 80th Birthday. Barbara writes about riding with her Dad, while Charles Sherf, currently a resident of Cherry Hill, remembers his days on the farm in Maple Shade and riding at the Cowtown Rodeo. The group meets the third Wednesday of the month at the store. The public is invited to attend and the talk is free of charge.
