Camden Catholic hosting open house

Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, holds an open house for all students in South Jersey on Thursday, Nov. 5 starting at 6:30 p.m. The event focuses on the curriculum, programs, and activities at the area’s oldest Catholic co-educational college preparatory school. Sign-in for the open house is 6:30 to 7 p.m., with the open house beginning promptly at 7 p.m.
Camden Catholic has approximately 1,000 students coming from both public and private schools in 70 towns in South Jersey, with 95 percent of the graduating students enrolling in two- and four-year colleges. The most recent graduating class earned $11 million in pure academic scholarships and grants, with students attending such institutions as Georgetown University, Haverford College, University of Southern California, Boston University, Clemson University, University of Texas at Austin, Catholic University, and University of Scranton.
Located on a 33-acre campus, the school is known for its academic, arts, and athletic programs and has prepared more students for college than any other high school in South Jersey. Its website www.camdencatholic.org communicates the school’s themes of opportunity, community, and tradition, according to the school’s president, Msgr. Andrew Martin.
For more information on the open house, contact Rich Crowell, director of admissions, at 663–2817 or at rcrowell@camdencatholic.org. The school is located at 300 Cuthbert Road in Cherry Hill.
