Championship Cat Show Oct. 24

The Liberty Trail Cat Fanciers club is presenting a CFA Championship Cat Show at the Cherry Hill National Guard Armory, Grove and Park Streets, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08002 on Saturday, October 24, 2009. This exciting event will feature as many as 225 cats including a variety of pedigreed cat breeds and household pets from New Jersey and surrounding states as they compete for top awards in The Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc. All cats will be judged in six competition rings over the course of the one-day event. Spectators are invited to watch the cats being judged, wander through the show hall to see the cats close up and visit with exhibitors, plus shop to their hearts’ content for unique cat items. Vendors will offer for sale a variety of merchandise for both felines and fanciers, including unique cat toys and grooming supplies, as well as feline themed household items and clothing. A local shelter will also be present with cats available for adoption to loving homes. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission prices are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for children and senior citizens.
