In this day and age, we need information and we need it now.
This is especially true when it comes to kids and especially when it comes to their education.
Lucky for Marlton residents, information about their child’s public school education is right at their fingertips any hour of the day or night.
The Evesham K-8 Public School Web site and the Lenape Regional High School District Web site both offer up-to-date information to keep parents and other visitors informed about what’s going on in the academic, athletic and extra-curricular spectrums of Marlton elementary, middle school and high school students’ education.
Visitors to the Evesham K-8 district Web site are welcomed by a homepage that displays a list of newsworthy items. Viewers who click on the links are provided with in-depth information about each topic. Similarly, newsworthy topics with links for more information are displayed up and down the sides of the LRHSD homepage.
To the right-hand side of the K-8 homepage there is a list of district-wide and school specific announcements for the upcoming weeks. A box at the bottom displays upcoming events and provides a link to a district calendar for a more advanced look into what’s going on during the school year. The LRHSD calendar and a list of upcoming events are prominently displayed on its homepage as well.
The left-hand side of the K-8 page displays shortcuts so that visitors can access pertinent information including links to school Web sites where viewers will find information, events and announcements specific and unique to each school as well as maps and directions to each school. Viewers will also find links to information about the Evesham Child Care before and after school program.
A link to the current month’s lunch menu is displayed on the homepage as well as information about food services and contacts for each school‘s cafeteria manager.
Those seeking employment within the district can access a list of open positions and can fill out an online application. There is also a list of important information about the application process and contact information for the human resources department. A similar employment portal exists on the LRHSD web site, except applicants are instructed to e-mail their resumes.
The top of the K-8 homepage offers links for important information pertaining to district administration, the board of education, the Marlton community, information for parents, details about programs and services and resources for teachers and employees.
