According to unofficial election results, there were 1,208 votes against the budget and 1,050 for it. The district had proposed a $68.8 million budget that would have increased school taxes for the average homeowner by $116 over last year.

They will be joined by challenger David Weinstein (1,001) on the board. Challengers Cyndy Pappaterra (728), Stacey Fulton (596) and Dimitri Schneiberg (520) also ran for the three open spots.
